Well, he is Swedish and his real name is Sven-Ã…ke Högberg, but is better known as ‘The Legendary Hank C. Burnette’. He has released over 70 records and CDs the first being on the US Blue Horizon label out of Warrington, Florida owned by  Larry Stevens, a half Cherokee native American with a country music background.
His biggest seller is ‘Spinning Rock Boogie’ (recorded in his parents makeshift garage), originally released on the US Seagull label out of Nashville, Tennessee, re-released on the UK Southern Sound label and finally hitting the charts in its re-edited hit version  on the UK Sonet label and described by the U.K. Sounds magazine as: “The most original, amazing instrumental ever released”!
The record sold more than 8 million copies for Sonet in 1976. Hank played  all instruments, all the vocals,  all the production and sound engineering. Sonet Records Rod Buckle added ‘The Legendary’ to his name.
