Updated: New Dylan Track From ‘Tempest’

‘Early Roman Kings’, is the first track to emerge from Bob Dylan’s forthcoming album, ‘Tempest’ and can now be heard on the YouTube clip above.

The song – a blues based on ‘I’m A Man’ originally by Bo Diddley and recorded by Muddy Waters as ‘Mannish Boy’ is also reminiscent of ‘My Wife’s Home Town’ from 2009’s ‘Together Through Life’ and forms the soundtrack for a trailer for the second season of the US TV show Cinemax’s Strike Back.

According to Rolling Stone, another song from the album, ‘Scarlet Town’, will premiere when the series starts on August 17th.

‘Tempest’ is out on September 11th.
